Field Of View Extended Dakotalapse Video Featuring My Music

Field Of View - 4K Ultra HD Timelapse

Field Of View is the amazing new timelapse video from Randy Halverson at Dakotalapse which you can watch above. Randy describes some of his photography below:

Field Of View is a compilation of timelapse I have shot in the last year. The first shot of the sunset supercell was done on July 23, 2015. That storm dropped multiple Tornadoes in eastern South Dakota, I was shooting it from central SD. I shot timelapse of that same storm for almost 4 hours into the night. Other locations in the sequences are Aurora in central, western South Dakota and the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming. The Red Desert in Wyoming, Badlands and Buffalo Gap National Grasslands area of South Dakota. Bighorn and Teton Mountain areas in Wyoming.”

Randy Halverson

There’s also an extended 30+ minute version of the video available in 1080p featuring my atmospheric ambient music tracks Halo’s Edge and Orbital Drift which you can get directly from Dakotalapse here:

Snow And Clouds By Lukas Spieker

Snow and Clouds from Lukas on Vimeo.

Here’s another nice timelapse video from photographer and filmmaker Lukas Spieker which uses my track Aurora. The video is called Snow And Clouds and was shot in the Swiss Jura Mountains on a cold winter morning.

“I used the in-camera time-lapse capture of the Nikon D810 and D4, except for one sequence (the one zooming out) which is made of JPG frames. There’s also one hand-held pan recorded with the iPhone which has phenomenal image stabilization. I have made several time-lapse videos from this and nearby locations over the last years, one of them made it for a documentary on weather phenomena.”

Lukas has used some of my music in one of his previous videos and you can see more of his work on his own website:

Arrow Of Time – Milky Way Time Lapse Collection By Harley Grady

Arrow Of Time - Milky Way Time Lapse Collection

Can’t believe I don’t seem to have posted about this video here before but perhaps it just slipped through the cracks at a busy time when it was released. It’s a gorgeous Milky Way time lapse video from photographer and filmmaker Harley Grady that features my music track Shadowland.

“This video is a collection of Milky Way time lapse videos that I have shot from 2010-2013. It has been really fun doing so, and I decided to put all of my footage together in one long video to represent what I have done so far.”

Harley Grady

It’s a really beautiful video with some lovely star trails and astrophotography time lapse and I think it fits together with the music perfectly. You can see more of Harley’s work and license his footage from the following links:

Summer Milky Way & Airglow Time Lapse By Harley Grady

Summer Milky Way & Airglow Time Lapse (4K ULTRA HD)

Here’s a really nice new Milky Way time lapse video from photographer Harley Grady that features my ambient space music track Coronal Mass Ejection.

“We’ve had lots of rain in the north Texas area. Finally had a clear (and free) weekend to shoot a time lapse of the Milky Way. Notice the green glow at around the :50 second mark? That’s an astronomical phenomena called ‘airglow’.”

Dakotalapse Full Length Time Lapse ‘Trails End’ Featuring My Music

Trails End - 4K Ultra HD

This is the latest time lapse film from photographer Randy Halverson at dakotalapse.com called Trails End. It’s a video compilation of some of Randy’s best time lapse photography from 2014.

The main music used in the clip above isn’t mine (although the intro/ending title music is my track Lightscape from my Royalty Free Vol.8 Collection) but he also has a full length version that runs to 30+ minutes long which features my music throughout the entire video.

I have to say that the photography in the 30 minute feature is absolutely mesmerizing and I’m honoured that my music is featured in this beautiful film. It’s well worth 30 minutes of your time to see some of the incredible photography in this video. You can download the full version shot in 4k Ultra HD from Randy’s website here:

http://dakotalapse.com/2015/04/trails-end-uhd-4k-time-lapse/

Randy has also used lots more of my music in his previous time lapse video work which you can see here on my site.

New Dakotalapse Short Time Lapse Clip Catches Satellites

Final Boost Stage of GSSAP and ANGELS satellites - 4K UHD

This short 1 minute time lapse clip from Randy Halverson is a pretty enough video to watch on its own merits. It’s even more captivating when you look closer and see that Randy managed to capture (by chance) 2 passing satellites in the frames of his film. The GSSAP and ANGELS satellites had launched on July 28th at 7:28 EDT and can be seen within the video above.

The background music is New World Dawn from volume 8 of my royalty free music collection Deep Space Ambient.

Short Time Lapse Clip From Dakotalapse Featuring My Ambient Music

Sprites, Gravity Waves and Airglow

Here’s a new short but hypnotic time lapse video clip from photographer Randy Halverson at Dakotalapse featuring a brief extract from my atmospheric royalty free ambient space music collection. Hear more of my work in Randy’s previous videos here.

“On August 20th, 2014 I timelapsed a storm over central South Dakota with multiple cameras. I left for Wyoming without looking at most of the frames. I saw a post by Tom Warner about Sprites he caught on the same storm. Sprites are large scale electrical discharges that occur high above clouds. When I got back I went through the frames and found 7 with Sprites in them. The Sprites are only 1 frame each, so they will be a quick flash of red near the right side above the storm. The green Airglow is rippled by Gravity Waves, some faint Aurora moves in towards the end of the sequences, on the right side before the clouds cover it up.”

Randy Halverson (Dakotalapse)
