Are There Any Restrictions On Use Of Your Royalty Free Music?

You can use my royalty free music in just about any situation. Whether it’s as background music for your film, documentary, trailer or TV commercial etc. You can sell your film or stream however you wish and I don’t need any further payment (hence the ‘Royalty-Free’ name).

The only real restriction is that I do not allow any of my music to be used as an underlying sample or in anything that involves creating a new track based on my recording, even if it’s just a short sample in a hip hop track. One other example of this would be if you wanted to create a podcast with my music in the background that you then intend to submit to YouTube’s Content ID system to track and monetise your podcast on YouTube.

As long as you’ve bought a licensed copy, I’m happy for you to use my music in your podcast and sell that podcast but I can’t allow that new creation to be submitted to any audio fingerprinting service (such as YouTube’s Content ID system) because of the knock-on effect it would have in identifying copyright claims on other people using my music.
