Another video in my series of movie trailers rescored with my own music soundtrack (for promo use only). This clip is from the cult 2004 Japanese futuristic fantasy movie Casshern written and directed by Kazuaki Kiriya.
The movie itself is a beautiful stylised mix of stunning CG and live action and is well worth tracking down a copy of. I got hold of the beautifully packaged 3 disc box set a few years ago and I’ve been wanting to do a track for the trailer for a while.
Similar in style to the orchestral music of Hans Zimmer, the track is a new orchestral action piece I’ve written called Titan which is available from my mp3 music shop to download or license for use in your own film or trailer:

Titan is amazing!!! I love to workout (martial arts) to this type of music. If you have anything else like TITAN, please let me know. Can I buy the CD version or is it just MP3?
Let me say it again, TITAN is amazing!!!
Hi Steve, thanks for your comments. I’ve got some more orchestral tracks like Titan in my shop here:

You might want to check out other categories like action/excitement too (use the category selector at the top right in the shop).
Sorry, I don’t sell physical CDs, just downloads, but you can easily burn them to CD using your CD software like Nero if you have it. Hope that helps.
Thanks, Simon
I’m interested in that peice of music at the first six seconds of the video, it’s similar to what you hear at the beggining of alot of movie trailers, is their a name for this type of music? I don’t know how to identify it by name to ask for it or find it. Any help appreciated. It’s very nice.
Hi John,
Those kind of short introductory parts at the beginning (or ending) of a main track are generally known as a sting (you might also hear them referred to as a stinger, sounder or even just an intro/outro). They’re generally under 15 seconds long and used as a kind of musical punctuation point to emphasise something is about to happen. And yes, they’re very common in trailer music :)
Thanks so much. I’m gonna peruse ur work with much interest. I bet you have such an ear for it that if you listened to the intro of say the G.I. Joe: Retaliation trailer you could identify the artist.
