This video was shot and edited by talented filmmaker, photographer, musician and veteran of the hip hop scene, D-Nice which uses my track Resolution for the music soundtrack.

Also check out D’s excellent series ‘True Hip Hop Stories’ (which also features some of my music) on his website at www.d-nice.com

You can buy the piano track Resolution for use in your own film and documentary projects as part of volume one of my royalty free music collection for film and documentary makers. The collection features over 45 minutes of atmospheric piano and ambient music soundtracks with a license to use the music in an unlimited number of projects:

documentaryI’m starting work today scoring music for a new documentary project. Can’t say too much about it for the moment, suffice to say it looks like an interesting and well produced series -- lots of good footage for me to get stuck into so I’m excited about starting on it. After the work is completed I’ll hopefully be able to shed some more light on it and maybe link to a trailer, but until then, heads down and on with the composing…

Update (26/06/09):
The documentary score is going really well -- one week into it now and got about a third of it done with lots of ideas for themes.  I’ve got 3 weeks total to finish it so pretty much on target, hopefully. Will play my ideas to the producer and editor soon to get some feedback and meantime start moving things up a notch.

Update (10/07/09): Practically there now -- the producers are really pleased with the work I’ve done so far -- just have to finish off the last few pieces of the puzzle and I’m done. Been a pretty intense but thoroughly enjoyable few weeks!

Update (26/07/09): Post-production is now officially wrapped! The producers were extremely happy with the final music and after a successful screening to a test audience, the job is now finished. As soon as the product is officially available and I have their permission, I’ll share the details of the show and hopefully a trailer or some promo material.

Update (17/08/09): I can now post a preview of the show -- here’s a short clip from the documentary Evolution: The Grand Experiment featuring music I scored for the show:
